Santa Ana – Mid Major Hoops Report staff was in town at Nike Extravaganza XIX at the Meruelo Athletic Center hosted by Mater Dei Catholic HS. The Extravaganza event showcased some of the top high school basketball programs and top players in America.
MMHR is highlighting this year’s top student athlete performers in the Nike Extravaganza based on in game performance and NOT pre-existing hype or bias or next level projection. This is an opinion solely based on MMHR staff and other influential scouts/colleagues.

Lefty, very fast in transition with ball in hand, explosive off vertical, very shifty with handle, change of direction moves are on point, has pull up game, fearless going to the hole. Great pickup for Northwestern!

Dominated 2nd half versus St John Bosco with his playmaking abilities. He made some tough shots from three point range under 3mins left to tighten the score up. Jordan, has great handle, poise, most of all feel for the game, easily attacks basket, utilizes pump fake well to draw fouls, very smart player. USC has a diaper dandie in the making.
